Sul legno nudo
disegno la mia onda spumeggiante che ricopro applicando garze intrise di
cemento e colla, il cuore prende a correre come tutte le volte che mi trovo
a fare una nuova esperienza, con la spatola stendo le garze cercando di
seguire il movimento dell'acqua, alla fine quando tutto il legno è stato
ricoperto provo una sensazione di godimento infinita come quando da piccolo
dalla dispensa prendevo il vasetto di nutella e a cucchiaiate ne mangiavo
fino a saziarmi, la mia “nutellata”, incredibile per tre ore ho lavorato
senza pensare al risultato ma solo per il gusto di fare.
Una svolta, un
punto di non ritorno !!!
I draw my foamy wave on a bare piece of wood, I
then cover it by applying gauzes soaked with cement and glue, my heart
starts beating the way it does every time I do something new, I spread the
gauzes with a spatula trying to simulate the movements of water and,
eventually, when the whole piece of wood is covered, I feel infinite joy,
like I used to as a boy, in the pantry, when I ate spoonfuls of Nutella
from a jar until fully satisfied. My
way of “nutelling”.
But hey, incredible, I’ve been working for more than three hours without
ever thinking about the result, just for the sheer pleasure of it.
A turning point AND a point of no return !!!
